Air Tanker choose the security, reliability and stability of AIMS as their Commercial Planning, Crew Management and Operations Control software provider

AIMS International is honored to announce the selection of the AIMS Commercial Planning, Crew Management and Operations Control Solution by Air Tanker Services Ltd for the provision of full operational control of aircraft, tasking and operational planning on behalf of the Royal Air Force and Armed Forces of the United Kingdom together with their Global Partners.

 

Air Tanker provides for the delivery of Aircraft, Infrastructure, Service, Training and Global Expertise in support of Voyager, the “Next Generation” multi-role tanker transport (MRTT).

 

Voyager is a Military version of the highly successful Airbus A330 aircraft that is capable of providing for the Global Support requirements of Her Majesty’s Armed Forces by way of Humanitarian Aid, Aero Medical, Cargo, Air to Air Refueling and the transportation of Personnel in accordance with the assigned Mission from their ‘state-of-the-art’ Flight Operations Control Center located at the Air Tanker Hub, RAF Brize Norton.

 

Air Tanker is a partnership (Airbus, Babcock International, Cobham, Rolls Royce and Thales) of leading Defense and Aerospace providers (each provider being a specialist in their field) who combined provide for unparalleled Support, People and Expertise.

 

The functionality suite provided by AIMS to Air Tanker together with the level of Service and Dedication offered by the Air Tanker Team underpins the Strategic and Tactical Operations of the Royal Air Force.

 

In addition to offering Global Operations on behalf of the Royal Air Force, AIMS will also be utilized by Air Tanker to expand their Civilian Operations and will provide for the Commercial Planning, Crew Management and Operational requirements of Global Cargo and Passenger Charter Operations on behalf of Tour Operators such as Thomas Cook.
